A planning application has been submitted to turn a Hatfield home into a residential care home.

The plans, proposed by London Paramount Care, would see 34 Holme Road change of use from residential use (Class C3) to residential care home (Class C2).

"We are writing to you to explain the intended use of the property in 34 Holmes Road, Hatfield," reads the planning application.

"We will be looking after one adult with learning disability in the property. The adult will be supported by two staff during the day and one at night, who will also be awake.

"Our tenancy in the property is agreed to be a minimum of three years, but we are hoping to extend this to five years if possible.

"There will be no other physical changes in the property."

London Paramount Care offers support to the adults, children and the elderly, providing residential care.

"We have an experienced and dedicated team who will support the adults," reads their website.

"The staff are highly invested on trainings and time to ensure they meet the needs of the individuals we look after. We carefully select the right team who share the same passion and values with us."
