A planning application has been submitted to demolish part of a Hatfield hotel to build a new reception and restaurant.
The plans, submitted by Focus Hotels Management, would see the current facilities at the Hatfield Oak Hotel in Roehyde Way partly knocked down.
This work would make way for a new reception and restaurant to be built at the front of the hotel, facing the A1001.
The proposed building work would include a number of big windows and changes to the roof, including the installation of sky lights. Building materials will include buff brick walls and grey metal cladding.
The plans are currently under consultations, and you can have your say until the deadline on July 19.
