The Howard Centre has revealed it is "not aware" that Clintons Cards will be closing their Welwyn Garden City store, following rumours online.
There have been claims on social media this week that the retailer would close in July, vacating Unit 18 at the shopping centre.
When asked for comment by this newspaper, a spokesperson for The Howard Centre said they were "not aware" of any closure.
"We have not been made aware of any formal closure of the store and cannot comment on whether this is a legacy from their previous corporate restructure or part of a new strategy for Clintons," said a member of the centre's management team.
Clintons Cards have been contact for comment, but we are yet to receive a response.
