A section of the A1(M) northbound will be closed on Saturday, June 1 to allow "essential resurfacing work" to take place, National Highways has confirmed.
The A1(M) northbound will be closed between Junction 6 (The Clock) and Junction 8 (Stevenage North/Corey's Mill).
Motorists will be diverted through Knebworth.

In addition to this work, National Highways is continuing to complete resurfacing of the A1 between A1(M) Junction 10 (Stotfold) and the Biggleswade North junction.

A spokesperson for National Highways said: "We’re carrying out essential resurfacing work to ensure the A1(M) remains safe and serviceable for all road users."
