As the third season of Bridgerton arrives on streaming site Netflix this week, here we look back at filming of the Regency-era period drama in Hertfordshire.
Series three centres on the blossoming relationship between Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton.
Having filmed key scenes in Hertfordshire for the first two series, producers returned to the county for shooting of season three, with North Mymms Park one of the locations used for the new series.
'Polin' fans will have to wait until Thursday, May 16 for the first four episodes of series three to drop on Netflix, with episodes 5 to 8 released on June 13.
As devotees of Julia Quinn’s hugely popular raunchy romance novels eagerly await the third series, here's a look at the Hertfordshire locations used for filming of Bridgerton and it's prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
Season one included scenes filmed at both Jacobean stately home Hatfield House and 16th century mansion house North Mymms Park.
Hatfield House featured as the setting for Lady Trowbridge's lavish society ball in episode four of series one – 'An Affair of Honor' – in which Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) first kiss in the garden.
Scenes were filmed in the Marble Hall, where the ball takes place, the Library, the West Garden, the West Terrace and the North Front, with dozens of extras required on set for the ball.
While Bridgerton season one filmed in a number of spectacular historic locations across the UK, Nicola Coughlan found herself especially enamoured with one location in particular.
“We shot at Hatfield House, which was the house that they filmed The Favourite in," said the Derry Girls star when the first series came out.
"I did sneak upstairs because I wanted to see Olivia Colman’s room. I was trying to rub the walls so that her acting talent would rub onto me!”
North Mymms Park, a popular wedding venue situated off Tollgate Road between Welham Green and Colney Heath, was another filming location used for the opening series of the Netflix hit.
Scenes were filmed in the Library and the Marble Hall, as the venue confirmed on Instagram.
Season 2 of the raunchy Regency-era romp returned to the region with scenes at the Bridgertons' country estate filmed on location at Wrotham Park, near Potters Bar.
Set in the heart of a 2,500 acre estate situated south of the M25 and Potters Bar, and just north of Barnet, Wrotham Park doubles for the Bridgerton family’s ancestral home, Aubrey Hall, in season two.
Production designer Will Hughes-Jones said: "Aubrey Hall is a location, Wrotham Park — we couldn’t really build it on a stage — and when it comes to filming on locations we generally only film in them for two or three days.
"But because of it being the Bridgerton family seat, and because there’s so much interior to exterior, we were there for a long time."
It is here that the Pall Mall game is also played.
The forthcoming third season focuses on the relationship between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton — and viewers can expect to see Herts on screen again, with North Mymms Park used as a filming location.
North Mymms Park is used for the interior of White’s, the oldest gentlemen’s club in London.
The Luton Hoo Estate, situated between Luton in Bedfordshire and Harpenden in Hertfordshire, is also the setting for multiple locations in Bridgerton season three, including the exterior of the printing press and the Bridgerton garden.
Another location used for filming of Bridgerton this season was Wrest Park across the county border in Bedfordshire.
This was used for the interior of the Fuller’s home this season, as well as the exterior of Rotten Row.
Episodes 1 to 4 of Bridgerton series 3 will be released exclusively on Netflix on May 16 at 8am BST, with the final four episodes dropping on June 13.

This Bridgerton-verse prequel centres on Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power.
It tells the story of how the young Queen's marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton.
Series makers once again turned to Hatfield House for location filming, with the results seen in the opening episode.
Most of the interior wedding scenes in episode one were filmed at Merton College in Oxford.
However, the brief scene when Charlotte (India Amarteifio) sneaks a peek before the ceremony and looks down on the crowd from above to try and get a glimpse of George — and is, instead, spotted by Lady Agatha Danbury for the first time — was filmed inside Hatfield House.
This was shot in the Marble Hall, which was also used in the first season of Bridgerton for one of the high society balls.
The gardens at Hatfield House also served as the setting for another key scene in Queen Charlotte before the wedding, when Charlotte and George meet for the first time as she tries to climb over the wall to escape.
