A man suffered a stab wound to the neck after a fight in Welwyn Garden City this week.
The incident occurred at around 1.30pm on Wednesday (April 17), near to the pedestrian crossing before the Twentieth Mile Bridge, between Chequers and Stanborough Road.
It was reported that a man took himself to hospital with a suspected stab wound to his neck, following a fight between three males, which resulted in the man, aged in his 20, receiving a suspected stab wound.
"I am appealing to those who were in the area, to contact me if they saw anything suspicious, or anyone who was driving nearby to check their dashcam footage if they have one," said PC Philip Jowett of the Welwyn Hatfield Local Crime Unit.

"Additionally, I want to hear from anyone who spotted a black Vauxhall Mokka in the area.
"Any information, no matter how small could be vital to our investigation so please report it."
