A planning application has been submitted to turn a former Woolmer Green veterinary practice into a two-bedroom home.
The building in London Road was formerly home to Attimore Veterinary Practice, but has stood empty since its closure in mid-2022.
Now, plans have been submitted by Macdonald Egan SSAS for a "change of use from a commercial, business and service (Class E) to a dwellinghouse (Class C3) for residential use to form one dwelling".
According to the proposals, the new dwelling would be a two-bedroom property, with a kitchen, living room, one bathroom and an en-suite.
"The application site is a former veterinary practice situated on the west side of London Road and within the village of Woolmer Green," the planning application states.
"The site contains a single storey detached building and features a flat roof form and part brick, part render finish.
"The application site features an existing area of hardstanding to the front of the building that provides off-street car parking and access to the public highway.
"The site would benefit from three off-street car parking spaces. This would be sufficient to serve the proposed 2-bed dwelling."
