A Hatfield-based football academy run by Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny has got a new sponsor, which hopes it can help develop the next generation of stars.
Accountants Mercer & Hole, which has offices in St Albans and Rickmansworth, will provide support for The Elneny Football Academy by helping secure much-needed kit and coaches.
"I am absolutely delighted that we are sponsoring The Elneny Football Academy," said Maria Kelly, Mercer & Hole’s marketing and communications director.
"Supporting our local community and helping the younger generation get a develop in football, which might even lead to a successful career, is extremely important to us.
"As a firm, we believe in harnessing passion and talent, and this extends to the wider community."
Set up by Arsenal midfielder Elneny back in October last year, the academy operates from the Hertfordshire Sports Village on the University of Hertfordshire's De Havilland Campus.
The Elneny Football Academy aims to bridge the gap between grassroots and professional football, with the academy nurturing talents as early as five years old and, continuing to guide their development as they reach 16.
Elneny himself participates in the coaching at the academy to bring his wealth of Premier League experience to Hertfordshire youngsters.
