Two men have been arrested in Hatfield after a second stabbing in the borough this week.
Police were called at 8.36am this morning (February 29) to reports of a serious altercation between two men in Errington Close in Hatfield.
Officers attended the scene and arrested one of the men, with a second man arrested in nearby Mosquito Way.
Both men sustained stab wounds during the incident and have been taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are serious but non life-threatening.
A Herts police spokesperson was keen to stress that it is believed that the men are known to each other, and that they are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident.
The incident is the second stabbing in Welwyn Hatfield this week, following an incident on Monday that has seen a 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
At around 7.15pm on Monday, a man sustained serious but non life-threatening stab wounds to his arm and chest after being attacked in Hall Grove in Welwyn Garden City.
