A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug and weapons offences in Welwyn Garden City after police seized crack cocaine and cannabis.
Police stopped a vehicle in Rowans on Saturday (February 24) after receiving intelligence that it was involved in drug dealing, and the driver was arrested.
Crack cocaine and cannabis were seized, along with the vehicle.
A 24-year-old man from Waltham Abbey was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and driving under the influence of drugs.
Following a search of the man’s home, he was further arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

"This result came about thanks to members of the public being vigilant and reporting their suspicions about local drug dealing," said PC Laycock from Herts police.
