Hertfordshire Philharmonia is returning to St Mary’s Church, The Walk in Potters Bar, next month.

The concert, on March 9, will begin with Beethoven's 'Ruins of Athens' overture and Beethoven Piano Concerto No 5, featuring the Lithuanian soloist, Milda Daunoraite.

The final performance will be Mendelssohn Symphony No. 3, under the baton of conductor Edward Longstaff, who has written music for both professional and amateur musicians.

Milda began her piano studies at six, and has since gained scholarships at the SOS Talents Foundation, founded by Michel Sogny, and studied at the Purcell School of Music.

She is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, where she is a recipient of a full fees scholarship and the ABRSM Scholarship award.

Milda has also been supported by The Keyboard Charitable Trust and the Mstislav Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation.
