A Hatfield man has been charged with cannabis possession after a police pursuit in the town.
Anthony Eves, of Drovers Way, Hatfield, was arrested in Tamblin Way shortly after 1.30am on Thursday, February 8.
Officers from Operation Scorpion had been carrying out patrols to tackle vehicle interference when they spotted the 44-year-old cycling towards a male on an e-scooter.
The pair made off and were pursued by the officers on foot, with Eves subsequently arrested after being found with a bag of cannabis in his pocket which officers then seized.
Despite their best efforts, the second man was not traced, but his e-scooter was seized after being found abandoned.

"The harm that drugs have on communities cannot be underestimated and I hope this news reassures locals that we are serious about tackling it," said Detective Inspector Bianca Broadbent, from the Welwyn Hatfield Local Crime Unit.
"This should also be a reminder to the public that it is illegal to ride an e-scooter on a public road.
"My officers have been carrying out regular patrols in Hatfield Garden Village to tackle vehicle interference and we will continue working hard to stamp out crime and keep you safe.
