Hertfordshire Constabulary has welcomed 20 new recruits at a passing out parade in Welwyn Garden City.
Having completed formal training, they were presented certificates by Chief Constable Charlie Hall on Friday, February 2.
The group, including five former students, a PCSO and nursery practitioner among others, celebrated their achievement with family and friends at police headquarters in Stanborough Road.
Chief Constable Charlie Hall said: “I am delighted to formally welcome you all to the constabulary.
"You’ve been through intensive training which I know has put you in good stead to go out into our communities and keep people safe.
"You’ll have also made friendships along the way which will last a lifetime and will continue to be there for one another as you are deployed into each of your areas.
"I wish you all the very best and look forward to you delivering excellent policing to the people of Hertfordshire."
