One person has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a white Ford Fiesta and a silver Toyota Auris.
The collision took place at around 5.28pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, February 5) on Great North Road, near Welwyn Garden City.
Hertfordshire police and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, and road closures were put in place at both the Ayot Green junction and the Digswell Road roundabout.
The road was reopened by 8.18pm, and one person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called at around 5.28pm yesterday (Monday, February 5), following reports of a road traffic collision on Great North Road in Welwyn Garden City.
"Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the fire service.
"Two vehicles were involved – a white Toyota Auris and a silver Ford Fiesta.
