One of Welwyn Garden City's Boots stores is set to close down later this year.
The store at 126 Peartree Lane will shut down on March 9, with customers being advised to head the site in Cole Green Lane to pick up prescriptions.
The decisions has been met with disappointment from Welwyn Garden City residents, with many describing it as a "shame".
"What a shame. They always do repeat prescriptions correctly and on time," said one resident.
"Peartree staff are always helpful and friendly. The store will be missed," another added.
Another said: "They're great in there. The best Boots in Welwyn Garden City. Gutted for the staff and community."

Back in June last year, the health and beauty chain confirmed that it would be closing 300 shops around the UK, reducing its numbers from 2,200 stores nationwide to 1,900.
Including the Peartree site, Boots currently has four stores in Welwyn Garden City, with sites in Cole Green Lane, The Howard Centre and Moors Walk.
The Welwyn Hatfield Times contacted Boots for comment, who were not willing to speak on the closure.
