A police investigation is under way following a "sudden death" in Hertsmere.
The incident happened in Borehamwood late yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, December 6), and in a social media post this afternoon officers said it "may be linked to class A drugs".
A file has been prepared for the coroner.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "We are currently making enquiries following a sudden death in Hertsmere yesterday.
"At this time, the circumstances are still being investigated, but we are working to establish whether it may be linked to class A drugs.
"A file has been prepared for the coroner.
"Although we are still in the very early stages of our investigations, it is only right that we reach out to those who use drugs and urge them to be extra cautious about what they are using and how much."
