A centre which offers residential breaks for children and young adults with learning and physical disabilities in Welwyn Garden City received a donation of sensory games for attendees to enjoy.

Peartree Short Break Centre received the donation from AGMS Foundation - which stands for Agam Gosai Manav Seva and aims to serve humanity at a local, national and international level.

AGMS volunteer Sunita Singh said: “By providing opportunities to vulnerable people it helps them to thrive, contribute and participate fully in various aspects of their life, and by offering our support we can create an environment where people feel empowered, accepted and respected."

Peartree attendees and the manager welcomed and thanked AGMS volunteers at the centre, which is run by Jubilee House Care Trust.

The trust is dedicated to meeting the needs and choices of people with disabilities, catering for people with a wide variety of support needs, including those who need physical assistance in their daily routines.
