From stocking fillers and secret Santa goodies to Christmas jumpers and glitzy party outfits, local charity Isabel Hospice has got Christmas shopping wrapped up for you.
Not only will shopping local this year, in any one of their 16 shops, support the high street but you’ll also be helping to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those the charity cares for.
On visiting an Isabel Hospice shop, you’ll be able to find a huge array of Christmas gifts, so finding a gift for everyone on your list won’t be a problem.
Isabel Hospice is encouraging people to shop sustainably this festive season. In addition to being purse-friendly and supporting your local charity, shopping preloved saves unused and unwanted items from going to landfill, so you can feel great about going green this festive season.
Area manager Jane Morrison said: “Christmas should be the most wonderful time of the year, but with the cost of living increasing significantly, we wanted to make sure our local community could find great value in our shops.
"If you’ve never shopped pre-loved before, then Isabel Hospice shops are a great place to start. We not only stock great value fashion, including Christmas jumpers and party outfits, but Secret Santa shopping has never been easier with our wide and unique range of pre-loved gifts.”
For those unsure on what to buy for loved ones, Isabel Hospice will shortly be selling and accepting The Charity Shop Gift Card - a gift card accepted in participating charity shops.
Over the festive period, Isabel Hospice will also be participating in numerous Christmas fayres across eastern Hertfordshire.
In addition, they will be holding a six-week pop-up book shop in Welwyn Garden City’s Howard Centre, and their first clothing kilo sale on Saturday, November 18, next door to their head office in Welwyn Garden City.
You can find the location of your nearest Isabel Hospice shop at www.isabelhospice.org.uk/shops/. Or visit the eBay shop online to uncover even more treasures and unique finds to gift your loved ones this season.
Jane added: “It is certainly a busy time for all in the retail industry at Christmas, and this year is no different at Isabel Hospice!
"From November 13 till December 23, we’ll have a pop-up book shop in the Howard Centre, found next door to Pandora. Please do pop in and browse our book offers at great prices – another Christmas gift winner! We’ll even have a kids’ corner to keep little ones entertained as you shop.
