Festive cheer will soon be coming to Welwyn Garden City, with a date revealed for the Christmas lights switch on revealed.
The popular event will take place from 12pm to 6pm in Howardsgate, on Saturday, November 18, with Santa and friends leading the countdown.
The much-loved Christmas Lights Trail will be illuminated throughout the event for people to explore and enjoy, with the installations in place until January 1.
On Friday, November 17, festivities will kick-off with a fun fair in Fretherne Road and Stonehills, from 4pm to 8pm, including live music, food stalls, festive market, Santa’s sleigh courtesy of The Rotary Club, and much more.
Entertainment on the night will include Wexli Academy, Stagecall, DH Dance Academy, Somewhere 2 sing and Britain's Got Talent sensation Immi Davis.

The events have been funded by the town's businesses through Wonderful Welwyn Garden City BID, with support from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
"The Christmas Trail is the pinnacle of the Christmas shopping season in Welwyn Garden City," said Sabrina Murphy, chair of the WGC BID.
"Families from near and far gather to enjoy the illuminations each year, and we guarantee an even more spectacular experience this time around.
