Stevenage Magistrates Court results – October 27
Mary Connors: 56, of Newland Avenue, Bishop’s Stortford. On January 6 drove a BMW on A120, Bishop’s Stortford when there was no insurance in place to cover the use of the vehicle. Fined £660 plus ordered to pay victim services £264 and court costs £110. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 6 months.
Adam Yori: 22, of Moatfield Road, Bushey. On October 28, 2022, drove a Honda Civic on Geddes Road, Bushey while using a hand-held mobile phone. On November 24, 2022, drove a Honda Civic on M1 at Markyate at 115mph when the speed limit is 70mph. On February 2 drove a Honda Civic at A24 Ewell By-Pass, Epsom at a speed exceeding 40mph. Fined £240. Ordered to pay victim services £96. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 3 months.
Stevenage Magistrates Court results – October 31
James Mcredmond: 58, of Appleby Street, Cheshunt. Between January 5 and February 1 failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Mercedes who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £500 plus ordered to pay victim services £200 and court costs £85. Driving record endorsed with 6 points.
Lois Boateng: 23, of Bandley Rise, Stevenage. On June 27 assaulted a man at Stevenage railway station by beating him. Ordered to pay victim services £114 and court costs £85. Community order made – alcohol treatment requirement.
St Albans Magistrates Court results – October 31
Ekram Mohamed Nur: 40, of Cornerfield, Hatfield. On February 10 drove a Kia Rio on Lower Luton Road, South of Bowers Heath Lane at 36mph when the speed limit is 30mph. Fined £108 plus ordered to pay victim services £53 and court costs £110. Driving record endorsed with 3 points.
St Albans Magistrates Court results – November 1
Ross Hawton-Hill: 38, of Walnut Grove, Welwyn Garden City. Failed to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by St Albans Magistrates Court on May 23, 2022, by failing to attend appointments. Fined £40.
Max Digby: 20, of Torworth Road, Borehamwood. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by St Albans Magistrates Court on February 6 by failing to attend unpaid work sessions. Fined £87 plus ordered to pay court costs £85.
