Changes to polling stations and districts are being proposed for two wards in Welwyn Garden City.
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is carrying out a review of all polling districts and polling stations across the borough, in accordance with the Electoral Registration and Administrative Act 2013.
The proposals would see a change to the polling districts in Hollybush ward, and to add an additional polling district and amend the existing polling districts in Peartree ward.
This would also see the polling station at Peartree Primary School moved to the Hatfield Sea Cadets site in Bridge Road East.

All other wards remain unaltered as they meet current legislative criteria.
The proposals and maps can be found at www.welhat.gov.uk/voting-elections/review-polling-districts-polling-places.
Comments must be submitted to elections@welhat.gov.uk by November, 29 2023.
The outcome of the review will be published on the council’s website on January 17, 2024 and the final decision of the review will be made at the meeting of full council held on February 5, 2024
"This review will help ensure that polling stations across Welwyn Hatfield are fit for purpose and are accessible to all," said Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council chief executive and returning officer, Ka Ng.
"I welcome comments on the proposals and representations from key stakeholders, interested groups and organisations or individuals on the appropriateness of the polling stations and any other comments on the scheme in general."
