The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has reaffirmed that British nationals caught up in the Hamas attacks in Israel are an "utmost priority", with a man from Potters Bar still missing.
Jake Marlowe was working at the Supernova Festival near the Gaza Strip when militants stormed the site firing rockets, killing more than 260 festival-goers.
His parents, Lisa and Michael, have launched an appeal for information, having not heard from their son since the attack.
"He called me at 4.30am to say all these rockets were flying over," they told the Evening Standard.
"Then, at about 5.30am, he texted to say ‘Signal very bad, everything OK, will keep you updated, I promise you."

Mr Marlowe's whereabouts are still unknown, with the FCDO telling the Welwyn Hatfield Times that "the safety of all British nationals continues to be our utmost priority".
"We don’t comment on individual consular cases. However we can confirm we are in contact with – and assisting – the families of several individuals in Israel and the OPTs," said an FCDO spokesman.
"The safety of all British nationals continues to be our utmost priority and we urge everyone to continue to follow our travel advice which is updated regularly.
"British nationals requiring consular assistance should call the following numbers: +972 (0)3 725 1222 or +972 (2) 5414100. If you experience technical difficulties with these or if you are in the UK, call +44 20 7008 5000."
Mr Marlowe, who attended the Jewish Free School in London, moved to Israel in 2021 and was living in Ma’alot, where he was employed as a carpenter.
Another former pupil and Israeli military serviceman, Nathanel Young, was killed last weekend, with JFS headteacher Dr David Moody saying: "We are heartbroken at what has happened.
"Nathanel is fondly remembered within the school and we think of him with nothing but love. Equally, we have seen reports that Jake Marlowe is missing and we all pray that he is found soon."
We will provide more updates when we get them
