Veterans in Welwyn Garden City have been commemorated at a service at St Mary Magdalene Church.
The garden city's Royal British Legion branch held the service on September 13 at the Hatfield Hyde church.
It was attended by Deputy Lord-Lieutenant Col. Jane McCue and the Mayor and Mayoress of Welwyn Garden City Councillor Pankit and Mrs Vaishali Shah.
There were approximately 80 attendees.
The service comprised readings of war poetry from World War I through to World War II, Korea, Falklands and Afghanistan.
The poems were read by members of the congregation, including veterans and cadets, and 10 Standards were paraded.
Sea, Royal Marine and Air cadets from the local area also participated.
