Beauty salons across the Welwyn Hatfield and Potters Bar were nominated, and it was Serenity that came out on top in the Welwyn Hatfield Times' Your Favourite Beauty Salon Award.
Opened in Potters Bar in 2015 by friends Anna Mott and Emily Bryan, the salon on High Street now has a 17-strong team, and offers a range of high-end treatments including HydraFacial, Collagen Induction, Injectables and Dermalogica Skin Treatments as well as all your regular beauty procedures.
After winning the Best Beauty Salon in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire 2019 award, the business has now been named Your Favourite Beauty Salon, much to the delight of Anna and Emily.
"We are totally overwhelmed to receive this award - even though our clients voted for us we are so grateful that the public has recognised Serenity as their favourite choice of salon out of all of the finalists," they said.
"Thank you all so much and well done to all the other businesses that made the final."
Salon manager Jan added: "Winning this award means the world to us all and we thank each and every one of our clients for voting for us as well as the general public.

Explaining more about what Serenity offers, Emma and Anna continued: "The main goal of Serenity was to be able to provide a one-stop-shop where you can come and have not just your standard beauty treatments, but also more advanced treatments all under one roof.
"Serenity has six treatment rooms, a nail lounge compromising of three pedicure chairs and three manicure stations plus a brow bar, creating the flexibility and space to accommodate group bookings.
"Their therapists are trained to the highest standard and between them they hold a wealth of knowledge and experience to be shared.
"As a team they welcome their clients into the 'Serenity Family' and feel completely overwhelmed at how much the business has grown in such a short space of time."
