Police are keen to crackdown on "nuisance" motorbike riders who have been terrorising Welham Green.
The Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team are working to stop motorcyclists riding without plates or helmets along the A1000/Great North Road.
There have also been reports of the riders doing wheelies and burn outs, and failing to stop for police.
"This type of behaviour is not just a nuisance, but it can be frightening for other road users," said Sergeant Robert Wilson, from the SNT.
"Those riding in this manner are putting themselves and other road users in danger so we are doing all we can to take action.
