Welwyn Hatfield's BIG Summer kicked off with Hatfield Community Fair, as families enjoyed some fun in the sun in the town centre.
The fair saw more than 500 visitors attend, with 30 stalls run by local community organisations, partners and agencies.
There were sessions and activities for children too, including a climbing wall, face-painting, circus skills workshops, seed-planting and arts and crafts, with a rowing machine challenge for the older visitors and live music provided by the Ukulele Orchestra.

"We are delighted with the positive feedback we have received from our residents and visitors about our summer events programme so far," said Cllr Paul Zukowskyj, leader of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
"We wanted to create a sense of community and celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of our borough. We also wanted to support our local businesses and organisations to continue to grow and thrive by reaching lots of new customers as part of these community events.
"We are grateful to all our partners, sponsors, volunteers and staff who made these events possible. We hope that everyone who attends our events has a memorable and enjoyable time. We look forward to welcoming you back to our future events and activities."
