Bubble Rush fun run returns in aid of Isabel Hospice

Excitement is bubbling over in Hertfordshire as the much-loved family event Bubble Rush returns next month.

Scheduled for Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Woodhall Estate in Hertford, this family-friendly 5k fun run promises a foam-filled day of fun.

With its unique two-lap course featuring four bubble stations filled with colourful foam, Bubble Rush promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Participants are encouraged to take on the bubbles at their own pace, with the only goal being to finish with a smile on their faces.

Bubble Rush is hosted by Isabel Hospice, the Welwyn Garden City-based charity supporting those with life-limiting illnesses, and the event holds a special place in the hearts of the Hertfordshire community.

Not only does it offer family fun, but it also plays a crucial role in raising much-needed funds for the hospice.

In 2019, the last Bubble Rush event attracted over a thousand runners, raising a remarkable £38,000.

“This event has been tremendously missed by both the charity and the community during Covid,” said Donna Barton, community, events and corporate manager at Isabel Hospice.

"The Bubble Rush event isn’t just an amazing day out for the family, the funds raised are critical in supporting our vital services, and we're thrilled to see it return.”

The anticipation for this year's event is palpable, as expressed by previous attendee Lou Game.

“Bubble Rush really is the best family event going. My family were so excited when they heard Isabel Hospice is bringing this event back and have already signed up. We cannot wait to get bubbly whilst raising money for the Hospice.”
