A man has been rescued from the water at Stanborough Lakes as police, fire and ambulance crews attended.
The incident took place at around 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday, August 3).
At that time, Hertfordshire police received reports of concern for the welfare of a man in the water.
According to an eye witness, "about six police cars" and an ambulance attended the scene.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has also confirmed that two fire engines and a water rescue team was sent to the location.
Following his rescue, the individual was taken to hospital for treatment.
He has since been discharged.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called just after 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday) to concerns for the welfare of a man in the water at Stanborough Lakes.
"Officers, firefighters and the ambulance service attended.
"The man was rescued from the water and taken to hospital for treatment.
"He has subsequently been discharged from hospital."

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 3:34pm yesterday to reports of a man in the water at Stanborough Park, Welwyn Garden City.
Two fire engines and a water rescue team were sent to the scene, but fortunately the man had been rescued from the water before crews arrived.
"Firefighters helped to assess the person involved and provided medical care before handing him over to the ambulance service."
Lastly, a spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service commented: “We were called at 3.35pm on Thursday 3rd August with reports that a person had gone into difficulty in the water in Stanborough Park in Welwyn Garden City.
"An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"The patient, who was fully conscious, was transported to the Lister Hospital for further assessment.”
