ARISE Hatfield has celebrated giving away more than £100,000 to deserving causes over the past 10 years.

The charity, run by business supporters such as Gascoyne Estates, Ocado, The Galleria and Incentive FM, makes donations to Hatfield projects.

To mark the fundraising achievement, the previous 128 recipients of funds were invited to an afternoon tea in the Sundial Garden at Hatfield House on Wednesday, June 21.

More than 100 guests enjoyed food and drink provided by Bebo and Cellar Door Wines. Notable guests included Lady Salisbury, Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield Cllr Pankit Shah and borough Mayor of Hatfield Gareth Aicken.

Angela Gaughan of Potential Kids said: "ARISE Hatfield has been such a strong supporter.

"They helped us get off the ground when we started. And they were also there during some of our most difficult times, helping us get back on our feet when some of our equipment was vandalised.

"So, it’s wonderful to be able to relax at such a wonderful event and enjoy celebrating so many amazing Hatfield success stories."
