A new Tesco Express store has now opened in Hatfield's High View development.
Part of the £45 million regeneration project to transform South Hatfield, the shop has already been busy welcoming customers and joins other businesses, including Happy Valley Chinese Takeaway, Spice Field Indian Takeaway, Max Kebab, Hatfield Rise Launderette and Jhoots Pharmacy in taking up residence.
The store was opened by Welwyn Hatfield Mayor, Councillor Pankit Shah, who was joined by deputy mayor Cllr Frank Marsh, deputy council leader Cllr Lynn Chesterman and other members of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.

"The modern design and layout of the new shop is impressive and Nadeesha and his team have done a great job in getting the store ready for opening.
"I was delighted to see how busy the new store was on its first day and I wish them every success for the future."
