South Mimms service station has been ranked among the UK's best following a study by an electric vehicle specialist.
According to Drive Electric, the services - which is a popular stop for motorists on the M25 and A1(M) - ranked second on the list of best EV service stations behind Rugby, which took top spot.
A number of factors, including the number of EV chargers, the average price of EV charging facilities, the number of shops and food facilities, were taken into consideration to create a service station score out of 10.

South Mimms, which has 19 charging points costing an average of £0.52/kWh, was given a score of 6.66 out of 10
That price is below the UK average cost of £0.62/kWh, while six ultra-rapid chargers and 12 Tesla superchargers are among the chargers available.
South Mimms' 11 food spots and four shops helped to boost its ranking and hold off competition from the likes of Beaconsfield and Leigh Delamere.
