A victim has been punched in the face and kicked during an attempted robbery in Welwyn Garden City.
The incident took place in Howardsgate, the Howard Centre, between 4pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, May 20.
At the time, a group of three people approached and shouted at the victim in the street.
Two of the group punched the victim in the face, demanding that they emptied their pockets.

As they refused to do this, a third group member kicked the victim whilst they were on the floor.
A member of the public then intervened before the situation could escalate further.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have since released images of three individuals that they would like to speak to.
DC Max Maguire said: "The people in the image are thought to have been in the area around the time of this incident and may have information that could help with enquiries.

“I am also interested in any CCTV or videos that might have been filmed of the incident, they could be vital to our investigation.”
