A Welwyn Garden City salon has suddenly closed after the property they operated from was reclaimed by the landlord.
Academy Hair and Beauty in Fretherne Road announced last Monday that they would "cease trading with immediate effect", after the owner of the building took back the property.
"We are saddened to inform you all that with immediate effect, Academy Hair and Beauty has ceased trading, due to the landlord taking back the property," read a statement posted on Facebook.
"We are required to vacate the premises by June 23. We will be using the coming days to fulfil our obligations to the landlord, exiting the property as per our lease agreement.
