A man from Hatfield has been charged with rape and ABH assault after a woman was attacked in the town on Sunday.
Officers were called at around 11.35pm on Sunday, June 18, following reports that a woman had been raped in Hatfield town centre.

Stefan Keleman, 46, of Campion Road, Hatfield, was arrested and has been charged with rape and ABH assault. He has been remanded and is due to appear in court today.
"The victim was taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury and is being supported by our specialist officers," said Welwyn Hatfield Chief Inspector Kash Hussain.

"I would like to commend her bravery in reporting this to us.
"A man was quickly arrested, charged and remanded. I hope this provides reassurance that we take such reports extremely seriously."
