Fire crews attended and exinguished a blaze in a Welwyn woodland which was thought to have been started deliberately yesterday (May 29).
At 2.28pm on Monday, Herts Fire Control received a call with reports of a small fire in the wood adjacent to Hertford Road.
Welwyn Garden City teams attended, and a manual tool designed to beat out fires was used to put out the fire.
It is thought that the fire was started deliberately.

A spokesperson from the Herts County Council said: "A call was received by Fire Control at 14:28 on the 29th May stating there was a small fire ‘in the woods’.
