An amateur boxing event involving kids and adults is set to take place later this week.
The Welwyn Garden City Amateur Boxing Club will be hosting its first official bout since COVID-19.
The matches for boxers between the ages of 10 and 23 will commence on Sunday, June 4 from noon to 5pm at The View, in Old Herns Lane.
Benn Walker, the event organiser and boxing coach at the club, said: "The kids have worked hard so this is the perfect steppingstone for them."

The bouts are categorised based on age, weight, and experience to make the competition as fair as possible.
Benn added: "I want them to have something to be proud of as children get a bad rap just because of a few bag eggs and this will hopefully put a positive spin on it.
"We don't allow parents into the club during training as we want the children to open up. We are not just coaches, we are council workers.

"So, they can tell us anything, from how their parents might be affected by the cost-of-living crisis or school related issues.
"This is more than just boxing, it's about mental health and confidence and we are all volunteers' coaches, so we are there just to help them."
Tickets can be bought at the door and cost up to £15. All the money goes back into the club.
