Great North Road in Welwyn is set to close for highway repair and maintenance works next week.
On Thursday, June 1, the lane will be closed between 9.30am and 4pm.
The planned works will take place around The Clock roundabout, where lining works will be completed under the lane closure.
Hertfordshire County Council has advised for residents to "expect delays" at the time.

Herts County Council said on Twitter: "We will have a lane closure on B197 Great North Road Junction, The Clock roundabout Welwyn on 1st June between 09:30 - 16:00. Expect delays."
