A recent study of hashtags on Instagram have revealed Hatfield House is the UK's most Instagram-worthy wedding venue.

Analysing over 200 of the most popular venues around the UK, Aura Prints searched Instagram to discover which venue was being talked about most.

They study narrowed it down to the 10 most desirable wedding venue locations in the UK.

Two Hertfordshire locations are on top of the list, with Hatfield House in first place, while Ashridge House in Berkhamsted ranks fourth. 

Hatfield House had 34,814 mentions on Instagram.

Reopening its doors on Thursday, June 1, residents can once again visit the award-winning venue that has over 400 years of history.

The chapel has beautiful handcrafted stained glass windows crafted in the 1600s.

Childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I, this stunning historical setting makes for a picture perfect wedding fit for a royal. 

Its dramatic backdrop will make for an extremely memorable wedding.

Over the years, Hatfield House has played host to many concerts and events that people from far and wide come to see.

Some of the popular events include Slam Dunk Festival, Classic Ibiza, Chamber Music Festival, and Battle Proms.

It has been used as a filming location for anything from Batman Begins and My Week With Marilyn to Paddington 2.
