As the late May bank holiday is set to give residents a long weekend, many will experience some changes in their bin collection dates.
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and Hertsmere Borough Council published their late May collection schedule to inform residents of the changes.
In both Welwyn Hatfield and Hertsmere, all collections will take place a day later due to the bank holiday on Monday, May 29.

In Hertsmere, only black bins will be collected.
Between Monday, May 29, and Saturday, June 3, the bin collections have been amended as follows:
Normal Collection Days - Amended Collection Days
Monday, May 29 - Tuesday, May 30
Tuesday, May 30 - Wednesday, May 31
Wednesday, May 31 - Thursday, June 1
Thursday, June 1 - Friday, June 2
Friday, June 2 - Saturday, June 3
