Welwyn Garden City will see a new recycling centre open on Monday next week (May 15).
The new site, in Tewin Road, will be open seven days a week, from 10am to 6pm all year.
The split-level site will feature a large purpose-built reuse shop and have fewer closures when servicing takes place, according to Herts County Council.
It promises more parking on site, reducing the need for visitors to queue on the road.

It will also offer a new business waste drop-off service.
Welwyn Hatfield's former recycling centre at Cole Green has been closed to the public since Friday, March 31.
