Howardsgate in Welwyn Garden City is set to close for approximately eight weeks starting next week.
From Monday, April 24, a section of Howardsgate will close for the next phase of the improvement works.
This includes footway works and installing a raised road table to improve road safety.

Traffic platform One.network shows the roadworks will start on Monday, April 24, and go on until Tuesday, June 20, from 7.30am to 11.58pm - and are likely to cause delays.
These roadworks are part of Hertfordshire County Council's walking and cycling improvement scheme, also known as the Active Travel Fund.

A number of projects have been funded by the Active Travel Fund after the county council was awarded £9 million.
The projects support the objectives of the Local Transport Plan and Sustainable Hertfordshire strategy to help make more journeys by bicycle and foot across the county.
