Elvis (12A) – Thursday, July 6
Elvis is in the building... or at least on the big screen in Knebworth Park.
Baz Luhrmann’s latest sensation Elvis explores the life and music of Presley from childhood to the ‘King of Rock N’ Roll’.
Packed with glittering outfits, stellar acting – Austin Butler was nominated for an Oscar for playing Elvis – and the iconic tunes to match, the pop-biopic delivers a masterpiece of colossal measures.
A thoroughly cinematic drama, Elvis’s story is seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker, played by Tom Hanks.
Top Gun: Maverick (12A) – Friday, July 7
Bomber jackets and Aviators at the ready… The Oscar-winning Top Gun: Maverick is taking off and heading to the outdoor cinema screen in Knebworth Park.
A guaranteed adrenaline rush, Tom Cruise returns as one of the US Navy’s top aviators, Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell, in this long-awaited sequel to the 1980s classic.
Full of action and suspense, as one would expect from a Cruise blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverick took more than $1billion globally at the box office last year.
This film will take your breath away and have you feeling the need for speed.
After more than 30 years of service, Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.
When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialised mission, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign 'Rooster', and the son of Maverick’s late friend 'Goose'.
