Voters in Welwyn Hatfield head to the polls on Thursday, May 4.

One third of the borough council seats could change hands this year – one seat in each ward – with voting open between 7am and 10pm on polling day.

As things stand, the Conservatives have a majority at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council – which includes Brookmans Park and Welham Green.

The party in charge has 26 seats, against 12 seats taken by the Liberal Democrats and 10 by Labour.
