A social housing provider has apologised to a Welwyn Garden City tenant whose mould problem has become a "nightmare"
Chloe Crellin, who lives in Guinness House in Little Hardings, has had an issue with mould since the end of last year, telling the Welwyn Hatfield Times she has "faced never ending problems" since moving in last May.
In a statement, The Guinness Partnership, who found Chloe her flat, apologised for the mould, which they have tried to tackle in the past.

"We are sorry for the damp and mould Ms Crellin has been experiencing in her home," said a spokeswoman.
"Ms Crellin moved into her home in May 2022. She reported the problem to us in December 2022 and we carried out a mould wash as soon as possible.
"However, the problem has recurred, and we have now identified that more substantial work is required and we are arranging for this to be carried out.

"We have offered temporary accommodation to Ms Crellin which she has declined.
"We are also working hard, including with the council, to find other suitable permanent accommodation in Welwyn and Hitchin, Ms Crellin's preferred area - sadly there is a shortage of accommodation in the area."
