The Indian Cultural Association of Hertfordshire gathered in Welwyn to celebrate the Holi festival of colours.
Around 200 guests travelled from all over Herts, Cambs and Beds to take part in the celebration at the Oaklands scout hut.
To mark the vibrant festival of colours on Saturday, March 11, guests sprinkled each other with dry organic colours including red, green, blue, purple, orange and yellow.
Religiously Holi is one of the most popular and significant festivals in Hinduism, celebrating the eternal and divine love of Lord Krishna and Radha.
The event also included a range of Indian street food, with food stalls Ziri Kitchen and Hetal's Rasoi catering delicacies including dabeli, kachori, chilli paneer, bhajiya, chips and masala Indian chai - all of which the crowd thoroughly enjoyed.

One of the committee members also organised the special Holi drink called Thandai to add more flavours to the festival and help it feel authentic to the festival traditions.
Finally, there was a camp fire where everyone posed for a picture in their colourful outfits.
The Indian Cultural Association (ICA) in Hertfordshire was established in 1974.
A spokesperson for the ICA said: "The Holi Festival always brings immense happiness, high spirits and smiling faces."
