Hatfield Fire Station raised nearly £700 in a charity car wash in aid of The Firefighters Charity last week.
On Saturday, March 25, the charity event was held to help with mental and physical health issues firefighters may experience over the course of their careers.

A spokesperson for Hatfield Fire Station, Oliver Dent, said: "We as a crew were able to raise nearly £700 for the charity because of the very generous donations provided by the community in these expensive times.

"The crew and the charity are beyond thankful for all who turned up despite the weather turning a bit wet and windy, and there was a steady flow of cars throughout the three hours."
Ranging from small cars to a St John’s ambulance, the firefighters cleaned all types of cars.
