Cole Green Recycling Centre is set to shut its doors at the end of this month.
The Hatfield-based recycling centre will permanently close on Friday, March 31.
The closure comes as Hertfordshire County Council is set to open a new recycling centre in May.

It will be based in Tewin Road, Welwyn Garden City, and will be open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm.
Until the new Welwyn Garden City centre opens, you can find recycling centre in neighbouring towns.
Cranborne Road Recycling Centre in Potters Bar is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Wednesday, and 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Stevenage's Caxton Way centre is open from 10am to 6pm Sunday to Monday, or 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.

Cole Green RC is currently open from 8am to 4pm, and is shut on Tuesday and Wednesday, which gives residents just under three days to make use of the site before the closure.
