Strike action may continue to disrupt studies for students at Hatfield's University of Hertfordshire, as the University and College Union has added an extra walk out day.
UCU has served notice on employers for a further day of strike action to hit universities on Wednesday, March 15.
The action was called by the union's higher education committee which met last Friday (March 3).

The union has added this date, in addition to those set to take place on March 16 and 17, and March 20 to 22.
UCU is currently in negotiations with employers through conciliation service Acas.
As part of the process, employers had agreed not to impose a pay offer.
However, part way through the talks, employer body Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) instructed its member institutions to implement the first part of the pay offer, despite unions never agreeing to it.
UCU is still in negotiations with UCEA at conciliation service Acas.

UCU general secretary Jo Grady confirmed that progress was being made across a range of non-pay areas.
Jo said: "The reasons we've added this additional date is to focus the employers mind as talks come to a conclusion this week and especially early next week. They need to have on them the maximum amount of pressure."
