The window of a car was smashed in Welwyn Garden City and loose change was stolen from within. 

Around 7.15am on Wednesday, February 22, the window of a Seat Ibiza parked on the road in Sweet Briar was smashed. 

The man pictured is believed to have been in the area at the time and could have vital information. 

Sergeant Alex Smedley, from the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I appreciate that the quality of the images could be better, but I know that residents are concerned about car crime, and we want to ensure we are following up all lines of enquiry.
