A 10-year-old girl from Welwyn Garden City has scored the highest possible score in a Mensa IQ test.
Aanya Gupta achieved a 162 in her test, surpassing the IQ score of world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, who is believed to have achieved 160.
The 10-year-old received her score on Thursday, February 16 after taking the test the previous weekend.
Proud dad Himanshu Gupta said: “Aanya is a sharp kid. She has got scholarships from St Albans High School for Girls and got offers from St. Pauls, Dame Alice and Henrietta Barnett School.”
